How to copy a P-touch Editor .lbx file across to iPrint&Label
You’ll need the following files and information: A Dropbox or Gmail account, P-touch Editor, the iPrint&Label app on your iPhone or Android, and the Dropbox or Gmail app on your smartphone.
Dropbox Users on Apple iOS:
Step 1: Create a label in P-touch Editor ensuring you have selected the correct Brother label printer.
Step 2: Print your label to make sure it's exactly how you want it and then save your label.
Step 3: For Dropbox users, open your Dropbox account from your Mac and copy the saved .lbx file into a folder.
Step 4: Open the Dropbox app on your iPhone and locate the file or folder you're after. Then click on the three dots to the right and hit ‘Share’.
Step 5: Then press ‘Send copy of file’ and press ‘open in’ and locate or search for the Brother iPrint&Label app on your iPhone.
Step 6: The file will now appear in iPrint&Label allowing you to save the label and print.
Gmail Users on Apple iOS:
Step 1: Create a label in P-touch Editor ensuring you have selected the correct Brother label printer.
Step 2: Print your label to make sure it's exactly how you want it and then save your label.
Step 3: Email the saved .lbx file to your Gmail account.
Step 4: Open the Gmail app on your Apple device.
Step 4: “Select your email message and then select the .lbx file attachment. Hit the upload icon at the top right of screen.
Step 5: Then select Brother iPrint&Label.
Step 6: This will open the .lbx file in iPrint&label. Then press Print.
Dropbox Users on Android:
Step 1: Create a label in P-touch Editor ensuring you have selected the correct Brother label printer.
Step 2: Print your label to make sure it's exactly how you want it and then save your label.
Step 3: Upload the saved .lbx file to your Dropbox account.
Step 3: Open the Dropbox app on your Android device.
Step 4: Select the .lbx file.
Step 5: It will ask you to Open with iPrint&Label (or a range of other apps and programs).
Step 6: Select iPrint&Label and then select either Always or Just Once. This will open the .lbx file in iPrint&Label. Then press Print.
Gmail Users on Android:
Step 1: Create a label in P-touch Editor ensuring you have selected the correct Brother label printer.
Step 2: Print your label to make sure it's exactly how you want it and then save your label.
Step 3: Email the saved .lbx file to your Gmail account.
Step 4: Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
Step 5: Select your email message and then select the .lbx file attachment.
Step 6: Download the file and it will ask you to Open with iPrint&Label (or a range of other apps and programs).
Step 7: Select iPrint&Label and then select Always or Just Once.
Step 8: This will open the .lbx file in iPrint&Label. Then press Print.
