Shipping & Delivery

The following contains information on Brother Australia's shipping and delivery processes. For more information, please also refer to our terms of sale page.
  • Shipping
    Orders will generally be processed and shipped the next business day. Standard shipping delays of up to 4 business days for the Greater Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane areas, and up to 5 business days for the rest of Australia may occur. Delivery to rural areas may take longer.

    Brother observes weekends and public holidays and as such, orders processed on these days (Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in New South Wales) will be processed on the next business day.
  • Shipping Charges, Delivery Standards and Services

    For orders under $100, a standard delivery charge of $14.95 will apply to Metro, $19.95 to Regional and $24.95 to Rural addresses.

    For orders of $100 and over, free standard shipping applies to Metro and Regional addresses (Rural addresses incur a $24.95 standard delivery fee).

    Express deliveries are offered for at an additional $5, $7 and $15 surcharge per order for Metro, Regional and Rural addresses respectively.

    Bulky orders will incur a $9.95, $19.95 and $29.95 surcharge per order for Metro, Regional and Rural addresses respectively.

    Shipping charges are calculated during checkout prior to payment.

  • Tracking an Order

    To track your order, please retrieve the delivery notice email we sent you. Inside the delivery notification, you’ll find a link to the courier’s website and a tracking number. Please follow the link to track your item.

    If you haven’t received a Delivery Notification email, your order has not yet shipped. If you need assistance to track your order, please submit an enquiry here: https://www.brother.com.au/en/support/contact with your order number. We’ll be more than happy to help.

  • Split Orders

    We provide immediate shipping for multi-product orders.

    When you order multiple products, it is possible that we split your order and ship separate packages out to the same address as they become available. In other cases when appropriate, items are held to ship out as one package to make sure you receive the most efficient service.

  • Backorders
    In rare circumstances, products may become backordered due to inventory depletion. If this is the case, you’ll be promptly notified via email and provided with options regarding your order. Please note that your credit card is never charged unless we ship an order.
  • Missing an Item in Your Order
    If you're missing an item from your order, please submit an enquiry here: https://www.brother.com.au/en/support/contact with your order number and the item number that you’re still expecting. It may happen that 2 items in a same order have been sent in 2 separate packages arriving separately. We’ll check up on it and let you know the status or take any action required to ensure the reception of the missing item.
