Tree Planting with Friends

Guided by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, the Brother team plants approximately 200-250 trees and plants each year since 2010.

Following the tree planting activity, the team is joined by members of the Friends of Lane Cove National Park (‘Friends’), whom are a local community bushcare volunteer group, who donate their time and energy to caring for the Park.

As a token of appreciation towards the tireless work and commitment of the Friends, Brother has donated over $50,000 to support their work.

OzHarvest - Cooking for a Cause

Each year Brother staff are turning rescued food into nutritious meals in partnership with OzHarvest Australia. Using ingredients donated by supermarkets and cafes, Brother staff prepare delicious meals that are delivered to various disadvantaged communities in Sydney.

The partnership represents a real win win situation. Brother staff; are given an opportunity to make a difference in the community; learn new cooking skills while giving perfectly good ‘rescued’ food a second chance; disadvantaged communities receive a nourishing meal, and good food doesn’t go to waste by ending up in landfill.
