Embroidery ideas for your PR embroidery machine

Working with Polo Shirts

Polo shirts are one of the most commonly requested items for embroidery. Confidently hooping and embroidering these stretchy uniform staples means that even if your initial plan isn’t geared around polo-shirts, you’ll have the know how when you need it.

Depending on the size of the shirt, you may be able to hoop your left breast logo with one of the frames included with your machine. If you are stitching these regularly, a Round Frame will provide better all-around tension and be quicker for positioning.

The Magnetic Frame Set 50 x 50mm or Cylinder Frame are ideal for embroidering on the edge of a sleeve

Are stitches puckering? Stretch fabrics require more stabilising. Up the weight of your cutaway or try adding a fusible stabiliser to the back of the fabric.
