Brother launches compact, secure and reliable Professional Colour Laser printers

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - 1 June 2026: Award-winning printer manufacturer Brother International Australia is excited to announce the launch of its new and improved Professional Colour Laser range: the Brother HL-L8430CDW, Brother MFC-L8730CDW and Brother MFC-L8930CDW, along with the Brother MFC-L8970CDW (model available exclusively through Managed Print Services).

For many small and medium-sized businesses, print and scan tasks are part of daily work - not occasional admin. When devices are slow, toner runs out unexpectedly or shared access is difficult to manage, small delays can quickly become workflow bottlenecks. To support greener business printing, the range offers up to 31% reduction in typical energy consumption (TEC) compared to the previous equivalent models, along with EPS-free packaging.

The Brother MFC-L8730CDW brings full multi-function capability into Brother’s most compact colour laser MFC device yet, helping teams handle everyday document tasks from one shared machine while leaving more room for the work itself. 

An 80-sheet Automatic Document Feeder with 2-sided (duplex) scanning helps teams process multi-page documents with less manual handling, while print speeds of up to 31ppm keep everyday jobs moving.

MFC-L8930CDW: High-productivity colour laser for busy workgroups

Busy offices need a shared device that can keep up with everyday demand while making document capture simple when needed. The Brother MFC-L8930CDW is designed for workgroups that need higher paper capacity, strong print performance and an intuitive shared-device experience. With an 80-sheet ADF and up to 100ipm 2-sided (duplex) mono scanning, it helps teams capture multi-page documents more efficiently, reducing time spent standing at the device or manually handling double-sided originals.

For shared offices, repeated setup steps and frequent toner or paper changes can slow the whole team down. The Brother MFC-L8930CDW helps reduce that friction with a large 17.6cm colour touchscreen with Dedicated UI, giving each user personalised access to the workflows they use most. It also supports Super High-yield toner options and expandable paper capacity up to 1,340 sheets, helping busier teams print for longer with fewer interruptions.

MFC-L8970CDW: MPS-exclusive model for managed print environments

The Brother MFC-L8970CDW is available exclusively through the Brother Managed Print Services (MPS) reseller network, giving businesses a supported print solution that helps make everyday print easier to manage. From toner deliveries and service support to cost control and secure shared access, Brother MPS helps take the guesswork out of managing print across busy teams.

For workplaces where uptime, predictable running costs and fewer interruptions matter, the MFC-L8970CDW is built to keep work moving. It includes up to 10,000 pages of Ultra High-yield black¹ toner in-box and supports TN647 Ultra High-yield replacement cartridges, which deliver up to 10,000 pages in both black and colour¹. 

The device is also built to help teams work more securely and efficiently in shared, high-demand office environments with a 17.6cm colour touchscreen with Dedicated UI, 1GB memory, up to 100ipm 2-sided (duplex) mono scanning and NFC authentication.
