Which Brother machines are compatible with Artspira?
Most Brother wireless enabled embroidery, cutting, sublimation and fabric printing machines are compatible with Artspira. If your machine is compatible with Artspira, it is also compatible with Artspira+.
Embroidery machines: Aveneer EV1, Luminaire XP1,XP2, XP3, Stellaire XE1, XJ1, XE2, XJ2, Celeste CX1e, NV880E, NV2700, NQ3700D, F540E, M330E, M370, M380D, PR1060W, PR1055X, PR680W.
ScanNCut DX cutting machines: SDX1000, SDX1200, SDX1250, SDX2200D, SDX2250D.
Craft printers: Sublimation Printer SP1.

What is Artspira?
Artspira is Brother’s mobile design app that works with our compatible, wireless and Bluetooth enabled embroidery, cutting and sublimation printing machines.

Is Artspira free?Yes! Artspira is free to download and use. You don't need a subscription. However, the Artspira+ subscription gives you access to more functions, designs and projects.

Where can I download Artspira from?Artspira is a mobile device app that has been developed for use on mobile phones and tablets. You can download Artspira from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

What software do I need for Artspira?Android: Version 8.0 or later
iOS / iPadOS: Version 15.0 or later (compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch).
It is not available for Windows, macOS, or Chrome OS—it’s designed specifically for mobile devices. -
Can I log into Artspira from multiple mobile devices?Yes. As long as you have your username and password details and the Artspira app installed.

Can I use Artspira offline?No. Artspira is a cloud-based mobile design app. Your mobile or tablet must be connected to either wireless or data* to access Artspira. However, Artspira can be used away from your Brother machines and saved for later use.
When transferring your designs to your Brother machines, both your Brother machines and mobile device must be connected to wireless, bluetooth or data*.
*Your mobile provider may charge you if you are connected to data, depending on your usage plan. Brother is not responsible for any charges incurred when attached to data. -
Which Brother machines are compatible with Artspira?
Most Brother wireless enabled embroidery, cutting, sublimation and fabric printing machines are compatible with Artspira. If your machine is compatible with Artspira, it is also compatible with Artspira+.

How many machines can I connect to my Artspira account?
You can currently link four (total) compatible embroidery, cutting, fabric printing and sublimation machines to any one Artspira account. If you have more than four machines, you can delete and re-add machines as and when needed.
If you link a sewing machine to your Artspira account, it does not currently count towards your four linked machines. -
Why can I see product categories that I don’t own in the Artspira app?
Artspira is Brother’s all-in-one mobile design app that encompasses embroidery, cutting, and sublimation printing.

Can I access Artspira from my desktop?Not currently.

What is the difference between Artspira and Artspira+?Artspira is free to download and use. You do not need to pay any money to use Artspira.
Artspira+ is a subscription which unlocks more designs, Weekly Inspo issues, projects and features. You do not need to download another app.

Do I have to pay for Artspira+?Yes, Artspira+ is a subscription service. You can choose to pay monthly, or yearly.

Is there a free trial of Artspira+?Yes, you can try Artspira+ for free for one month before being charged. You can only access the free trial once.

Will I be charged straight away for Artspira+?If you haven’t used a free one-month trial before you will get one month free. At the end of the one month free, you will be charged.

If I cancel my one month free trial of Artspira will I be charged?No, if you cancel the trial early, you won’t be charged.

If I cancel my Artspira+ subscription, will I be refunded?No. If you pay monthly, you will be able to access Artspira+ until the end of that month. If you pay yearly, you will be able to access Artspira+ until the end of the subscription term for that year.

I did not authorise a subscription to Artspira+ but have been charged.If you signed up to the one-month Artspira+ free trial and did not cancel it, you will be charged. If you have not signed up to the subscription and have been charged, please reach out to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

How do I find Artspira+ content within the app?All Artspira+ content is marked with a crown icon. If the crown icon is white, you do not have a current Artspira+ subscription and can only view the content. If the crown icon is coloured blue, you have a current Artspira+ subscription and can both view and use the content.

Will I lose access to my saved projects if I cancel my Artspira+ subscription?If you downgrade from Artspira+ to Artspira and have over 20 saved designs, you will need to choose which designs to keep and delete the other BEFORE you downgrade. Only the first 20 designs will be carried over to Artspira.

If I digitise a design using an Artspira+ feature can I transfer the design if I downgrade my subscription?If the design is one of the 20 saved designs you chose before you downgraded to Artspira, then you can transfer.
However, you cannot create new designs without the Artspira+ subscription. -
What is the difference between CanvasWorkspace, Artspira, Artspira+, PE-Design and Brother BE Embroidery Studio software?Artspira: free Brother mobile embroidery, cutting and craft printing design app.
Artspira+: the enhanced, subscription version of Artspira with more features and designs.
CanvasWorkspace: free browser and desktop-based design suite for ScanNCut.
PE Design: embroidery digitising software.
Brother BE Embroidery Studio: advanced embroidery digitising software. -
Can I access CanvasWorkspace via Artspira?No. CanvasWorkspace and Artspira are separate programs.

How often is Artspira updated with new content?Artspira is updated with new designs monthly. An issue of Weekly Inspo, which includes projects and Collection of the Month designs is released weekly.

Why can’t I access all Weekly Inspo and Collection of the Month data?Each month, the first issue of Weekly Inspo is free and available to all Artspira and Artspira+ users. This includes all projects, patterns and the first part of the Collection of the Month.
The subsequent Weekly Inspo issues, including the projects and patterns contained, plus the rest of the Collection of the Month patterns can be viewed by all Artspira and Artspira+ members. However, they are only available for use by Artspira+ subscribers. -
How many times can I access Artspira a month?Artspira has unlimited access. You need to upgrade to an Artspira+ account if you wish to access certain designs, projects or features.

How many times can I transfer a design from Artspira?Artspira has unlimited transfers. You need to upgrade to an Artspira+ account if you wish to access certain designs, projects or features.

Can I download designs from Artspira?Yes, you can upload your own designs. With Artspira you can upload and save 20 designs in the cloud. With an Artspira+ subscripton, this number increases to 100.

Can I give away anything with an Artspira design on as a gift?Yes, you can give anything that has been decorated with Artspira’s built-in designs away as gifts. This includes any Artist and purchased Disney-inspired designs.

Can I sell anything with an Artspira design on?Yes, you can sell anything that has been decorated with Artspira’s built-in designs. However, this excludes any Artist and purchased Disney-inspired designs.
Artist and Disney-inspired designs are for personal use only. You will be breaking copyright and licensing law by using Artist and Disney-inspired designs for anything other than personal use. -
Can I share makes with Artspira designs on my social media?Yes! We love to see what people make. You can share your Artspira designed makes on your social media channels or on the gallery in Artspira.

Do I need an Artspira+ subscription to access Disney-inspired designs?No. Both Artspira and Artspira+ users may access the library of Disney-inspired designs.
Currently, Disney-inspired designs are only available for Artspira compatible embroidery and cutting machines. Disney designs are associated with your Artspira ID and can only be used on the Brother embroidery and cutting machines that are registered in your Artspira account. -
Do I need to pay extra for the Disney-inspired Artspira designs?Yes. Disney-inspired designs must be purchased within the Artspira app. Artspira+ subscription holders will pay less for their Disney-inspired designs.

Can I download Disney-inspired designs?No. Artspira is a mobile, cloud-based service. You transfer purchased Disney-inspired designs to your compatible Brother embroidery and cutting machines wirelessly.

Can I save Disney-inspired designs to my machine or a USB stick?No. Artspira is a mobile, cloud-based service. You transfer purchased Disney-inspired designs to your compatible Brother embroidery and cutting machines wirelessly.

Can I access my Disney-inspired designs if I stop using Artspira?No. Your purchased Disney-inspired designs live within your Artspira app. You will have the Disney designs if you have an active Artspira account. Please note that if you close your Artspira Account, you will lose access to the Disney designs you purchased, and there will be no way to restore the designs you purchased, even if you choose to reactivate your Artspira account.

Once I have purchased a Disney-inspired pattern in Artspira do I own it?No. The ownership of the design belongs to Disney. The licence allows you to use the design on compatible Brother embroidery and cutting machines for personal use.

Can I edit Disney-inspired designs?No. You cannot edit the Disney embroidery designs but the Disney cutting designs can be resized within the cutting mat size range. You can add text around the design or to the background.
