This Thing is BIG
It should come as no surprise to anyone that all-in-one printer is going to be a little bit on the big and bulky side of things. The MFC-J5845DW printer pushes dimensionality over all-in-one desktop style printers to new levels.
Measuring 545 mm (W) x 436 mm (D) x 309 mm (H) and weighing close to 17.5 kg, this is a pretty big unit. That said, it is still somewhat smaller and somewhat lighter than some of the direct competitors out there.
The oversized construction of this printer does allow for very easy to use and intuitive controls, however, which makes this trade-off pretty reasonable. A 3.7-inch colour touchscreen lets you do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to using this printer without a lot of extra effort. Physical keypads are available to be taken advantage of as well.
Incredible Print Capabilities
The Brother INKvestment Colour Multi-Function MFC-J5845DW printer is hands down one of the fastest inkjet printers we’ve tested. Capable of printing 22 pages per minute when printing in black-and-white as well as 20 pages per minute while printing in full colour.
These print capabilities have this printer almost four pages per minute faster than the direct competitors on the market today (on average). You’re going to get close to laser printer print capabilities out of the new MFC-J5845DW printer with the ability to print inexpensively in high definition and full-colour, too.
It doesn’t get much better than that!
The print resolution and print capabilities of this machine are excellent. You’ll get above-average graphics and photos, highly legible and almost laser-quality text.
