1. Support Structures

Brother has a number of service agents authorised to service Brother-branded products nationwide. As Brother International (Aust) is owned by Brother Industries (Japan) in Japan, we have complete support from the parent company and the worldwide Brother information chain. Warranty support can be tailored to your requirements and remote support can be provided through Brother’s nationwide Help Desk.

2. Brother Solutions Centre

Through the development of our own Brother International (Aust) website: www.brother.com.au, and the option of the international site: http://solutions.brother.com, we can provide technical manuals, drivers and printer management utilities and their up-dates.



3. Embedded Web Server Support
You can use virtually any web browsers that support Java-script to view and change printer and network setting information in real time. Simply type in your favourite browsers, the IP address or node name to access the full graphical user interface printer home page.



4. Network Administration: BRAdmin Professional Software

This administration software is designed to allow you to manage network-connected Brother printers and other SNMP-compliant printers in TCP/IP and IPX/SPX environments. This is additional software and not part of the Embedded Network Server software.



5. Proactive Fault Notification: Dynamically monitor printers on the task bar

Place a Brother printer or SNMP-compliant printer on the task bar to monitor its status at all times. If the printer has a problem, the colour will change and by double-clicking the icon you can view and change machine settings.



6. Proactive Fault Notification: E-mail notification

Brother network-ready printers can be set to automatically send an e-mail message at the time the problem occurs (paper empty, etc), and warns of impending problems such as low toner.



7. Flash Interactive Help

This is an interactive animated support feature that offers users the ability to play the movie and learn to replace consumables and sort out paper jams, etc. This movie also links to the solutions site for additional support.



8. Warranty

IDC Completes printer study of Corporate Australia on behalf of Brother


Brother International has launched the findings of a specially commissioned IDC Report into attitudes and usage in the corporate printing market in Australia.

The report is the result of a four month long trial of the Brother HL7050 printer within some Australia’s largest corporations. It explored the views of IT managers and what they looked for in a printer and what their organisation required.
