Quick editor is a no-frills text label editing package, that
supports drag-and-drop, so that existing text (such as stored
in a word-processing file) can be highlighted and printed to
a P-touch label quickly and easily.
A Quick Editor icon sits in your system tray (next to the clock
in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen). When clicked
with your mouse button, the Quick Editor software immediately
opens. There are three ways that Quick Editor
can be used:
- As a stand-alone editor.
Simply type the text required into quick editor. As more
lines are added, the text size is automatically reduced
to fit the label size selected.
- With highlight and click. You can highlight your text
in another Windows application, press ALT and then your
right mouse button. Your highlighted text is then copied
into Quick Editor, formatted correctly to fit your label.
- Drag-and-Drop. Again, highlight your text in another Windows
application, then click and hold your left mouse button,
and drag your selected text into the Quick Editor window.
Once more, your text is automatically resized in readiness
for printing onto a label.
